Airswift (Air Energy Caspian LLP) is currently looking for a KSU Area Controller/ Permit Approver (for KZ passport holders) for one of our large project in Tengiz, 2828. Job Description:
- Assists in systematic management of HSE, reliability and efficiency in order to comply with world class performance and to support Operational Excellence Strategy;
- Participates in Safety meetings;
- Ensures the work is being conducted in accordance with the permit-to-work requirements and hazard analysis outcomes;
- Takes actions on site preparation as defined by Permit Approver (e. g., release of equipment for repair);
- Communicates Permit to Work Holder on emergency actions (e. g., location of muster areas, contact information);
- Notifies all affected Permit to Work Initiators and Permit to Work Holders about simultaneous operations on the same worksite and associated hazards;
- Participates as needed in coordinating the activities being performed by different crews in the same area;
- Visits the work site together with Permit to Work Initiator and / or Permit to Work Holder, shows the equipment / site location in accordance with the Permit to Work;
- For Category 2 work tasks, visits the worksite daily for checking the site safety and further Permit to Work revalidation;
- Notifies Permit to Work Initiator and Permit to Work Holder about any changing process conditions that may potentially affect ongoing activities;
- If required, participates in Pre-Job Briefing conducted by Permit to Work Holder;
- Visits the work site to check the completion of work, cleans the workplace and confirms safety;
- Reviews the hazard analyses, work plans and Permit to Work scopes and verifies that forthcoming activities will not affect other simultaneous operations on site;
- Thoroughly reviews the Permit to Work job categorization and Permit to Work requirements;
- Identifies the required site preparation activities (equipment releases for maintenance, isolation of equipment and LOTO, etc.) and ensures they are performed before commencing the work;
- Identifies any interfaces and agreements (e. g., FE Survey Group, Power Ops) required for the planned scope of work;
- Communicates with assigned Area Controllers to confirm completion of all identified site preparation activities;
- Verifies safeguards and controls remain in place and functioning as outlined on the Permit to Work and the safety briefing form;
- Participates in facility work planning activities (e.g., daily operations meetings, etc.).
- Facilitates accurate counting of manpower working on the project. Updates data on a daily basis;
- Keeps control over timely submittance of POB (Personnel on Board) reports from the other groups working on the project;
- Creates project POB map on a daily basis;
- Performs Safety Audits in the project facilities jointly with Safety Engineer;
- Informs currents status of works, work process improvement potentials or encountered issues, if needed;
- Follows all appropriate approved procedures;
- Carries out the other instructions from immediate Supervisor.
- Higher technical education
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Productions Operation / on site
- Knowledge and experience with Permit to Work processes and procedures is preferred
- Kazakh, Russian, fluent in English language
- Confident user of PC and Microsoft Office (Project Excel, Word)
