Job Description:
Reports to Earth Science Supervisor within the Reservoir Management Group. Responsible for the interpretation of geological and geophysical data of the field, participates in the construction of geological models for planning, development, and drainage of the reservoir. Job responsibilities consists of reservoir characterization and modeling work, including, but not limited to the following types of work: core description, logging diagram correlation, seismic data interpretation, fracture characterization, integration of wells and reservoir data, construction, and calibration of geological models. Performs the construction of geological maps, visualization, provides the results of interpretation and modeling for the preparation of geological reports and conceptual projects support in Reservoir Management Group. Works closely with the Reservoir Management, Technology Research & Development, Field Development, Drilling and Production Technology teams to support the efficient integration of reservoir data and field development scenarios. Assists in well planning and coordination of studies related to core, logging program and field measurements.
Requirements:
- 4-15 years of experience in the field of geological disciplines;
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in Geology (Geology, Geophysics, Exploration). Good understanding of geological principles, seismic stratigraphy, and geology of carbonate reservoirs;
- Experience in interpreting seismic data and analyzing seismic attributes, logging diagrams interpretation, fracture characterization, a good understanding of statistical methods and experience in constructing a geological model of carbonate reservoirs is required;
- The confident skills of the Petrel user and experience with the Studio database is required;
- Good level of technical English language is expected (Upper-Intermediate).
