5966 Laboratory Assistant, chemical analysis

Airswift (Air Energi Caspian LLP) is currently looking for a Laboratory Assistant, chemical analysis (for KZ passport holders) for one of our large project in Tengiz, 14\14. Job Description:
The laboratory assistant performs analysis of oil samples, hydrocarbon gases, sulfur, wastewater, potable and process water samples and preparation of solutions. 
Performs measurements using a precision equipment such as inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer (ICAP), gas and liquid chromatographers, spectrophotometer, automatic titrator, atomic-absorption spectrometer, CLORA 2?? ?hlorine Analyzer, HVM472 ?utomatic Viscometer, OptiDist ?utomatic Fractional Composition Analyzer, OptiCPP ?utomatic Instrument, etc. 
Duties of the laboratory assistant:
-Perform maintenance of instruments and equipment in accordance with the instructions enclosed.  
- Prepare samplers for sampling as per the procedures approved.
- Perform complex lab procedures on laboratory work techniques. 
- Perform analysis of samples in a quality and timely manner.
- Prepare equipment for experiments to be performed (non-routine analysis), perform check, setup and adjustment
- Perform the required calculations, report and analyze the measurement results obtained by the method applied
- Introduce new test methods by spectrometry, chromatography and titrimetry into actual practical use
- Participate in identifying the causes of nonconforming test results and metrological performance
- Perform practical work to calculate measurement uncertainties
- Prepare reagents of different concentrations (percentage, normality, molarity, molality)
- Plot quality control charts, analyze them and draw conclusions
- Prepare control samples for operational control
- Perform works to check reagent condition
- Participate in the metrological certification of the instruments used by the group
- Control the preventive maintenance and repair of samplers 

Job Specification and requirements: critical
- Education in the field of Chemical Technology, Oil, Gas and Hydrocarbon raw materials by specialty of treatment/ production, by specialty of Chemical Laboratory Assistant
- Basic knowledge of Chemistry, Physics and Math 
Necessary:
- Secondary technical or higher education
- Knowledge of Laboratory work technique
Desirable:
- Experience in working with laboratory equipment 
- Confident user of Microsoft Office
- LIMS software operating skills
- Teamwork skills
Knowledge of the language: Kazakh, Russian; English - basic level.
