Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual sales targets for the managed sales territory regarding volume and landed material margin by working closely together with sales leaders, product managers and SBU leader(s).
- Maximize face-time with existing and prospective customers to develop sound relationships and credibility with decision makers.
- Understand relevant market dynamics in assigned regions/ segments and manage price changes to maintain/improve profitability.
- Support sales efforts of authorized distributor(s) in the managed sales territory with joint customer calls as warranted by opportunity size.
- Develop an understanding of the customers' long-term strategic needs and direction regarding technology, innovation, markets and products.
- Work across the organization to support sales of new products and applications and facilitate technical product presentations.
- Review opportunity funnel on regular basis with business/sales leader to ensure alignment with sales goals and strategy.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in chemical industry sales role.
- Experienced in rubber and plastics industry is an added advantage managing both distributors and direct account.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferable.
