Education Higher education;
Experience At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within Oil and Gas Industry
Knowledge of Languages English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent).
Other Skills/Certificates Required
- Knowledge of methods for the automatic control of the accounting system.
- Knowledge of administrative processes, control systems and accounting procedures.
- Capability to analyse and interpret complex information.
- Knowledge and practical experience of cost control process.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferable.
- Be fluent in standard software for PC such as MS Office.
- Monitor activity progress, as well as the value of work done against the invoices received, determining the monthly accruals (to have accounts in line with works progress).
- Investigating the variance between the estimations and reality
- Ensure proper applicability of cost control procedures to the company activities.
- Guarantee proper general accounting and administration management, assuring the respect of local and international accounting and tax rules. Achieve correct recording of abandonment obligation and site reinstatement.
- Support the application of the accounting principles and company administrative procedures.
- Guarantee the reconciliation of open issues.
- Properly proceed and record payable invoices by verifying them against related documentation.
- Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the workplace, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
