Our client seeks an Asset Protection Engineer, Perth based, on offer is an initial 12 month contract
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified and experienced systems engineer
  • 4 years of experience in the rail industry
  • Will consider both intermediate and senior-level candidates
Responsibilities
Work as a part of a project team located within the end client’s office at a central CBD location. Responsibilities in this role will include:
  • Manage sub-contractors and act as the end Client Interface
  • Requirements and Configuration Management
  • Act as the General Application Team Interface
  • Testing and Site Deployment
  • Assist the Lead PE with Asset Protection System (PLC-based) and Signalling Interface to Car Dumpers and Train Loadouts
In this role, you will gain exposure to:
  • Rail project for a tier-one mining company
  • Communications Based Train Control (CBTC)
  • Rail Management System (RMS)
  • System Engineering for a major software project
Applications used will include:
  • IBM DOORS (Requirements Management)
  • IBM Rational Synergy (Configuration Management)
  • IBM Jazz (Lifecycle Management)
Will also be exposed to applications such as:
  • PRA Argus (Asset Protection System)
  • Rockwell Studio 5000 (PLC Programming Software)
