Responsibilities

- Manage the delivery of project commissions to provide clients with high quality service and value add, as well as identifying opportunities to increase value through additional offerings
- Development and tracking of project controls including KPIs and schedules to ensure contractors meet the contractual requirements of the project
- Mentorship of members within the PPC team
Required Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in Project Controls within large scale NSW infrastructure projects
- Previous experience in identifying and winning business within the transport / infrastructure sector, paired with highly developed negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, PowerBI
- Understanding of PMBOK principles
- Relevant degree / qualification e.g. PMI, Bachelor Engineering etc.

Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (APAC) - Critical Infrastructure Project - Singapore
Airswift is seeking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer in Singapore responsible to develop mechanical services design for some of the most exciting data center projects in Asia Pacific

A global award-winning specialist in Critical Infrastructures, Enterprise Services and Facilities Management that provides innovative technical services for Data Centre, Connectivity, Fibre, Electrical, Mechanical and Building projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing the mechanical team in delivering timely design reviews, answering client mechanical queries and providing technical guidance to all project stakeholders where required.
- Develops critical infrastructure/data center designs to ensure concurrent maintainability of HVAC systems in line with project requirements.
- Provides on-site leadership for mechanical project team by providing guidance on design, installation, commissioning, and handover of projects.
- Design Mechanical Systems and prepare Calculations and Schematic Drawings for MEP Disciplines in Data Center.
- Prepare Specifications, BOQ and all related Documentations.
- Plan and set out data center critical infrastructures / systems from concept leading to the detailed design stage.
- Support the business across its full professional services including design, consultancy, site supervision, testing & commissioning and auditing.
- Prepare and issue mechanical systems technical specifications to tender participants / contractors.
- Study tender documents and understand client requirements to be able to put together technical responses to tender bids, proposals and quotations.
- Able to design complete Fuel Distribution, Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Fire Protection, and Emergency Voice Call system for Data Centres compliant for statutory submissions authority such as SCDF, BCA and NEA.
- B Eng Mechanical Engineer degree or similar.
- Extensive knowledge of data centers and mechanical system design quality control experience.
- Current or previous experience working in projects in Singapore/ APAC desirable
- Ability to carry out site surveys and develop concepts to schematic designs.
- Willingness to travel in the APAC region.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of civil transport infrastructure projects within the Client Projects Office (CPO) program.

- Monitor and assist in the development of budgets and delivery programs for current and future years’ major civil transport infrastructure capital works designs and manage the reporting and actions required to deliver projects.
- Develop, negotiate and evaluate service level agreements, partnership charters, communication and monitoring systems to support the delivery of program outcomes and outputs by internal and external providers.
- Assist with the implementation of project delivery frameworks and assist in resolving complex contractual matters relating to the delivery of projects undertaken by CPO.
- Apply strategic asset management principles and practices within the CPO program and assist in the development of policy frameworks for infrastructure assets.
- Establish and maintain relationships, networks and strategic alliances to influence the program especially with internal service providers, external agencies such as the State Government, service authorities and private sector agencies, and actively seek opportunities to influence policy development.
- Resolve transport infrastructure related issues to the Client company.
Essential:
- Proven ability in planning, design and construction of major civil transport infrastructure capital works projects, preferably in a public authority environment.
- Demonstrated high-level project management and transport and traffic engineering skills and experience, particularly related to the management of complex projects and programs.
- High level of consultation, negotiation, networking, advocacy and both oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deal with senior management, Client company’s and community members and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, key service providers, external agencies and the public.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge and skills in financial management, project/program cost and time management and project/program budget development and monitoring.
- Ability to lead project teams in accordance with fair and equitable human resource management policies and practices, including the ability to lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teams and offer guidance to less experienced staff.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and experience in public consultation.
- Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
Desirable:
- Be an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Project Managers as a Registered Project Manager or higher or hold a Certificate IV or higher in Project Management.
- Practical knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire practical knowledge of the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act.
