Role Overview
- Work as a team to maintain and install Automation-I&E equipment such as PLC components, wired and wireless transmitters, communications equipment, and HMI’s.
- Safety conscious, team oriented, self-starter, works well with minimal supervision
- Responsible for engaging in and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Use SCADA systems to monitor operation.
- Perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out process on required equipment.
- Other operations duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair PLC’s, ABB Total Flow’s, Fisher ROC’s, and Transmitters.
- Ability to troubleshoot Electrical Circuits and components.
- Knowledge of Communication equipment such as Free Wave, Xeta Wave, Red Lion, ABB, Cambium, and Fiberoptic Systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Computer skills such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced facility personnel.
- Must be able to get certified to work at heights using appropriate fall protection.
- Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures.
- Once adequately trained, contractors will be expected to work a call out rotation (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Required to work late as needed
- Willingness to learn and take directions from experienced Automation-I/E personnel.
Education & Experience
- Understand O&G production equipment and operations.
Work Schedule: 5/40 – Monday to Friday
