Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Advisor Performance Measurement to work on an initial 12-month contract in North York Ontario Canada possibly to be extended!
Summary: The Advisor Performance Measurement will lead the development, maintenance, and communication of cross-functional performance measurement reporting, including scorecards and dashboards. This role is pivotal in supporting Gas Distribution and Storage operations across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives through actionable insights and strategic reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of performance reports and management tools in collaboration with business stakeholders to support operational requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
- Advise and support business units in monitoring and managing performance effectively utilizing robust reporting mechanisms.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Develop performance reporting frameworks for Gas Distribution and Storage Operations, focusing on Work Execution and Productivity management.
- Create and maintain advanced scorecards and performance dashboards for operational improvement initiatives, facilitating clear communication to business and senior leadership.
- Utilize tools for data collection, analysis, and summarization to ensure accuracy and consistency in performance measures.
- Streamline reporting processes across stakeholders to establish a unified source of truth, supporting consistent messaging and data integrity.
- Implement effective data governance practices to centralize performance reporting in a standardized manner.
- Collaborate with the Performance Reporting team to enhance scorecard and dashboard reporting capabilities through continuous improvement efforts.
- Work with Operations leaders to define leading measures and KPIs, driving actionable insights and performance enhancements.
- Provide insights and recommendations to business leaders based on performance analysis to support continuous growth and operational excellence.
- Address complex problems with innovative solutions, prioritizing tasks aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Assist in building advanced reports and queries using standard reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, SAP Business Objects, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
- University Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in performance measurement, reporting, and/or analytics.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and achieve results.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Business Objects, and other performance reporting tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in Gas Distribution & Storage operations, including Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Work Management.
- Comprehensive understanding of Gas Distribution & Storage data and systems.
- Advanced business intelligence skills and capability for in-depth analysis.
