Administrative Assistant - Capital Group Clerk
Job Description
- Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees.
- Utilize Synergis Adept Document Management Software. The program helps you find, manage, share and control engineering, CAD and business documents.
- Support the construction and engineering activities.
- Support the construction group with timesheets, equipment orders, etc.
- Support the company site with administration support.
- Order materials and verify they are available and ready.
- Able to work with SAP.
- Work with the maintenance planner to improve project execution.
- Plant turnaround support (collecting timesheets)
- Work with Microsoft Projects Schedule Software (can be taught).
- Monitor project schedules to ensure Projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Flag productivity, critical path, and deadlines for each project phase vs. baseline.
- Maintain the equipment, construction, and safety documents/files
- Maintain monthly project file updates for the Project engineers (assets, project close, etc)
- Assist group with meetings set up when dealing with outside vendors.
- Coordinate drawing management activities using the company drawing management portal/Adept program.
- Ability to learn the Adept drawing management system. Perform drawing searches.
- Support outside engineering firm’s drawing needs. Help with finding drawings.
- 2+ years or more of experience in related industry.
- Minimum 1 years of experience with engineering design group performing similar job duties.
- Experience with a plant working environment.
- Must be able to develop strong relationships with plant personnel, managers, engineering, maintenance, and construction personnel.
- Understand the AutoCAD system (will train).
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Microsoft Access, Project, and SAP will be considered a plus.
- Drawing management system experience, preferably Adept.
