Our client is seeking a CMMS Engineer to work within their facilities located in Perth, Australia.


The Company

A Global operator of energy and resources. As a result of tying in the CMMS on SAP on 2 very large oil/gas projects and the upgrade into S4/Hana, they are looking for a CMMS Engineer to help with this.


The Role

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will play a key role and work closely with both global and local teams to coordinate all activities related to the CMMS build and provide your expertise within the CMMS Project group to carry out the implementation in SAP EP Blueprint. This will be from establishment, delivery through to execution and handover.

This is an opportunity for an experienced CMMS personnel to be based in Perth CBD for an initial 12-months contract. This is a project that goes on for 4-years, so the contract is renewable.



  • Delivering the CMMS build for the 2 projects and that they are aligned
  • Liaising with the Information management and IT team to ensure the required information for the CMMS build is delivered in a timely manner and to coordinate CMMS data verification and approval processes
  • Coordinate the Function Location Hierarchy development in EP Blueprint aligned with the Project’s blueprint data minimum standard
  • Coordinate the Manage Equipment Care process in the CMMS build which includes SCE identification, performance standards setting, assurance activity implementation and QM module requirements
  • Liaising with the Spare Parts Coordinator to ensure that Materials Management and Maintenance and Integrity requirements are aligned and implemented in e-SPIR process
  • Ensuring that legislative requirements regarding inspections and maintenance requirements are built into the CMMS
  • Setting processes to manage and review the CMMS build activities, progress, standards and tools to ensure a high quality, timely and cost-efficient build
  • Define the post implementation CMMS requirements to optimise the CMMS during it’s first year in operation
  • Managing the SAP and relevant maintenance and integrity information (data and documentation)
  • Reporting against and updating the CMMS build project execution plan


  • Proven experience working in a similar role with strong knowledge in Assets Management Systems and Manage Equipment Care process
  • Proven experience in Asset Information Management
  • Proven experience in SAP PM, MM preferably in a S4/Hana environment
  • Based in Perth with full Australian working rights


A tertiary qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential
