Elevate Your Career in Commissioning Site Responsible Engineer - Material Handling with Airswift
We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Site Responsible Engineer to join our clients' team on a contract basis. 2 / 3 week, rotation until the end of July 2025, located at site, in Stavanger, Norway. Role may latterly progress to offshore.
Role Overview
- Act as the Company's representative for Area Completion and Material Handling Commissioning discipline performance.
- Oversee area completion punch out, light and sound measurements, WEAC evaluations, personnel/goods lift and crane testing and certification.
- Ensure timely planning and execution of commissioning activities.
- Sign and report status from PIMS CMS for Commissioning.
- Define commissioning activities and milestones for the Jotun FPSO project.
- Execute commissioning activities according to established procedures and plans.
- Monitor progress and assess reports from suppliers/vendors related to construction-related issues.
- Participate in HAZID and HAZOP reviews, as well as other HSEQ related reviews.
- Contribute to the Management of Change process and project risk workshops.
- Coordinate and support construction and commissioning interfaces across all disciplines.
- Drive the development and implementation of commissioning activities for the Jotun FPSO project.
- Participate in the handover process from commissioning to operations for all Area and Material Handling disciplines.
- Ensure necessary test equipment, temporaries, tools, and commissioning spare parts are available for all Areas and Material Handling.
- Advocate for a positive working relationship and environment within the Commissioning group, as well as between Company and Contractors at sites.
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a Commissioning Engineer or other relevant experience within larger development projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
- Offshore experience with completion and start-up activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written & oral); Scandinavian is an advantage.
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Valid health certificate and offshore certificate required.
