Airswift is seeking a Jr. Contract Analyst to work with one of our clients in the oil and gas industry in Calgary, AB on a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities:
• Performing a range of general administrative duties to ensure that effective administrative support is provided to the Business Process team.
• Assisting the Business Process team as a point of contact for internal and external (counterparty) communications, maintaining records of various communications.
• Scoping and analysis of crude oil, natural gas, NGL, refined products purchase and sale agreements. This includes, but is not limited to, General Terms and Conditions and Master Agreements.
• Scoping and analysis of crude oil, natural gas, NGL, and refined products mode of transportation agreements. This includes, but is not limited to, trucking, rail, storage, and pipeline transportation agreements.
• Scoping and analysis of credit support documentation.
• Provides support to internal and external business stakeholders with communications and negotiations and timely execution of various commodities related agreements.
• Creating, updating, revising, and tracking amounts of large data regarding business stakeholder information.
• Coordinates with Front Office and its support functions such as Credit, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Insurance, Customs and Risk Compliance (Support Functions) to: review, negotiate and amend various commodities purchase and sale agreements.

Deliverables:
This Business Process SME will be supporting the CORE Optimization Project for the necessary changes to agreements. This includes being accountable for reviewing, drafting and applying CORE Program changes to various agreements including but not limited to, crude oil, NGL, natural gas, refined products related commodity agreements, as well as guarantees, assignments, and other various agreements with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The deliverables support readiness for the go-live date for commercial activities.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years related experience within as a Contract Analyst or an administration role
• Legal Assistant or Business Administration diploma is preferred
• Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
• Experience in execution, management and retention of contracts
• Proficiency in understanding of legal contractual language
