Key responsibilities: 

  • Implement and ensure compliance with the Contract Administration Plan. 
  • Prepare supporting information and respond to upstream Variation and extension of time claims 
  • Ensure compliance by the company with all requirements of the Building Industry Fairness Act (BIF Act) and the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act (QBCC Act) 
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Scheduler, Project Cost Controller, Site team, Commercial team and Management team to complete detailed and diligent assessments 
  • Perform detailed assessments of contractor delay claims based on schedule analysis and site information 
  • Liaise and support the broader project team to keep informed of all relevant aspects of the project to enable identification and resolution of issues. 
  • Provide recommendations and support to project and commercial management 
  • Collate and review documents and records 
     
    Essential: 
  •  Demonstrated experience in contract administration 
  •  Current Drivers Licence  
  • Must have experience in assessing and responding to construction delay and variation claims or either as contractor or principal 
  • Ability to travel to site as required (Full drivers Licence)
  •  Expertise in P6 
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field
