Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced Contracts Administrator with FPSO exposure to join one of our clients on a short-term contract.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
 
  • Perform contract administration activities (Pre- and Post-award), for assigned Prospects, FEEDs and Projects
  • In compliance with Company procedures and project requirements administer sourcing and tendering process including, bidders list, tender clarification, tender clarification meetings, tender evaluation and recommendation to award
  • Ensure that all Project required contractors and subcontractors are prequalified according to the relevant procedures
  • Review contractor’s qualifications on Terms and Conditions and in coordination with In house Legal Team, review and reply to such qualifications
  • Prepare and execute Agreements
  • Perform commitments (issue Orders) in IFS system
  • Negotiate and administer potential Variations
  • Coordinate the verification of progress /milestone payments
  • Finalization of account
  • Complete contractor performance evaluation
  • Manage contract close out, document retention/archive activities
  • Provide regular status and progress reporting
  • Contribute ideas for improvement of Procedures and best practices
  • Liaise with other internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Business Development, Estimating, engineering, etc.) as required
  • Manage contract guarantee claims by:
  • Formally presenting the guarantee claims or potential guarantee claims to contractors
  • Coordinating the internal resources necessary to assist in the claim
  • Collecting and documenting all costs related to the guarantee claim to be back-charge to contractor and maintaining the guarantee claim supporting documentation
  • Actively engaging with the contractor in finding the most suitable rectification as per claim request and the contract
  • Providing input to the project warranty log on guarantee rights gained in the contracts
  • Update the Guarantee Claim Register

Qualification requirements
  • Possess a certificate, diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ideally 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract development and administration
  • Experience in negotiation is an advantage
  • Experience in tender evaluation
  • Experience in offshore oil and gas industry is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and meticulous attention to details
  • Proactive and able to work independently, applying a structured and systematic approach
  • Team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
