The Company
Our client is a global energy operator with multiple offices across the globe. As a result of ongoing business growth, they are looking for an experienced individuals to join their business to work on their latest major project.
The Role
You will be working with a team to work on a major project. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the site support of existing control systems, as well as contributing to the development and optimization of control systems.
Responsibilities
From a technical perspective you will have experience in;

Design, implement & maintain control systems, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems.

Troubleshoot and optimize control system performance for continuous improvement.

Develop and modify control logic, programming, and system configurations.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.

Conduct testing and validation to ensure control systems meet safety and performance standards.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control systems on-site and remotely.

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Provide technical support and training to plant personnel.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in control systems engineering within the oil and gas industry.

Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems (Honeywell).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a FIFO roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).

Willingness to relocate or travel from Perth.
