Corporate Process Engineer / Stone Process Engineer

Driving force for implementation of innovation and process change throughout North America - Utilizing project, operational, and process improvement expertise from large-scale capital projects to processing equipment (crushers, screeners, washers) to plant operational management. This individual MUST have hands on technical experience of process equipment and ability to analysis, pitch, and lead new process optimizations from start to finish.

Education, Essential Skills, & Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering; or Bachelor or Associates degree in engineering with applicable experience
• 10+ years of experience in the mining industry, preferably in the aggregate/lime/cement/bulk material handling and crushing industry.
• MUST have experience with crushers, screens, belt conveyors and milling equipment.
• Proficiency with MSHA and EPA regulations.
• Proficiency with process control of stone processing equipment design and aggregate manufacture. Detail and process oriented with strong problem resolution abilities; ability to use root cause analysis to troubleshoot.
• Ability to travel up to 30%, primarily in the US and Canada. Overnight stays will be required and could include extended assignments during critical construction and start-up periods
• Individual must have hands on practical knowledge of crushing, screening, material handling and mining equipment.
• Must have a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and the legal aspects of engineering and construction
• Detailed knowledge of crushing, screening and material handling system and equipment suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide objective input to development of practical solution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English language).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers and contractors both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work closely with plant managers, staff members, supervisors, team leaders, hourly associates, contractors, and federal/state regulators
• Able to handle conflicts with a win-win approach
• Ability to safely negotiate in and around heavy industrial equipment and construction sites.
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate using engineering drawings and sketches.
• Strong quantitative problem solving, decision-making and time management skills.
