Job Title: Cost Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cost Control Specialist to implement and manage cost control systems, processes, and procedures for tracking project budgets, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role will oversee cost reporting, manage project contracts, review invoices, and ensure accurate cost allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage cost control processes, ensuring budget tracking and forecasting.
- Provide accurate and timely cost reporting to the project management team.
- Support contracting, procurement, and review of payment certificates and invoices.
- Forecast project costs, identify risks, and manage variance analysis.
- Apply earned value management (EVM) for progress and performance measurement.
- Ensure accuracy between cost management systems and SAP.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and commerce/ finance, or equivalent by experience
- At least 5 years project control experience, cost control, economics or business management, preferably including international elements or interfaces
- Experience working on the reporting of cost components of small to mid-scale capital projects
- Good understanding of project control principle, processes and techniques
- Experience and proficiency with Omega PIMS cost system, PowerBI, SAP and Visma experience is very beneficial
