Our client is seeking 2 Asset Data Analysts - Instrumentation & Electrical to work a 1-year contract in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Responsibilities

  • Review unit Hierarchy and/or applicable P&IDs to be able to identify/add the Tags/Assets that make up the electrical / instrumentation equipment within an identified critical system.
  • Using MyContent, search and review vendor documentation to find the appropriate drawings, Bill of Materials, spare parts lists etc. necessary to identify the appropriate spare parts/BOM for uploading into Maximo and SAP.
  • Identify and remove any duplicate equipment from the existing Equipment Parts List (EPL) and the hierarchy file.
  • Update files with: Where used, mfg#, part#, SAP#, links to docs/dwgs, min/max from SAP, equipment criticality and send to discipline reviewers. In the case of electrical, include cost and delivery.
  • Once Min/Max is reviewed by the discipline, update MMR (material master records) with attributes, identifying any items that have changed that need to be updated in SAP. Send files to SCM analysts to update SAP.
  • Update spreadsheets utilized for tracking progress with appropriate updates.
  • Update the EPL file, identifying all tags that have been reviewed and updated through the above process.
  • Update the Asset Register Spreadsheet with tag attributes identified in the above process.
  • Where directed, review/enrich various equipment attributes by equipment type (eg. motors, UPS, analyzers, etc.)

Requirements

  • Skills in data regression and analysis
  • Internally motivated and excellent with data improvements.
  • Ability to maintain high productivity with minimal intervention/supervision.
  • Background in Electrical / Instrumentation is an asset (eg. a technologist or CTM, able to work independently to be able to assign spare parts min/max values, sparing strategies, etc.)
  • Skills in SAP exploration/use beneficial (or ability to learn)
