Airswift is seeking a Designer to work on a permanent contract in Ubú- Anchieta- ES with a major Oil & Gas Company.
This position is a chance to work in one of the most important multinational companies from Petroleum market in Brazil.
This person will be responsible for carrying out technical projects of medium complexity, under the guidance of the Project Engineer, referring to the manufacture, assembly and installation of piping, structures and equipment in general, following specifications and technical standards, in order to meet and guarantee the requirements of the client, following the best engineering practices and internal procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interpret sketches and specifications through conventional drawings or magnetic media, based on specifications, to establish the characteristics of the referred projects and the bases for their execution;
• Design components and accessories for structures and equipment in general, guided by norms and techniques defined in the initial design assumptions (eg: Equipment for special projects, notions of pre-calculation, etc.);
• Elaborate, according to pre-established guidelines and technical instructions, sketches and/or final drawings of projects related to piping, structures and equipment in general, specifying technical and functional characteristics, as well as reporting all stages of development for analysis and superior victory;
• Technically control the preparation of drawings and projects, as well as their verification and final issue;
• Notify any and all changes to drawings in general, in order to keep the technical documentation relevant to the project duly updated;
• Provide design changes, performing basic calculations, examining notes, sketches, specifications and applicable technical standards;
• Provide technical support to the commercial department, when requested, for purposes of preparing bids or developing planning;
• Monitor assemblies and have preliminary analysis capacity when carrying out information surveys in the field – Onshore and Offshore;
• Participate in meetings with customers, outsourced companies and discussions of technical matters relevant to their experience;
• Know the security procedures and legal requirements necessary for your activity;
• Know and follow the Engineering processes presented in the BMS;
• Make use of the COE (Community of Excellence) whenever necessary to carry out its activities;
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• 2nd Technical Degree or Technical Course in Naval Structure, Mechanics, Industrial Piping or similar areas.
• Extensive experience in the exercise of the profession, in the area of ??expertise;
•Intermediary English;
• Knowledge in technical drawing, in design and its technical interfaces, as well as in the elaboration of medium and high complexity projects;
• Knowledge in highly complex calculations (equipment weight calculations, center of gravity, etc.) and use of tables, standards and procedures;
• Intermediate knowledge of mechanical, structural and equipment design, as well as tolerance, adjustments and naval concepts;
• Expertise in 2D design and 3D modeling software (Inventor).
