This is a “hunter” role focused on Project and Account Management, retaining C-level relationships, and overseeing the entire expense reduction project process from the initial collection of data through to implementation of cost savings. The individual will also manage a team of 2-4 individuals (Supervisors, Managers). The role will require the individual to be in person in Orange County, California.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of new expense area management, including achieving revenue goals, and presenting, gaining approval, and implementing savings strategies for all assigned client engagements. Will specifically be assigned 7-8 accounts with multiple simultaneous projects from data collection through to implementation.
- The role is key in relationship building, ensuring engagement and continual open dialogue with C-Suite level clients,
- The individual will be a trusted advisor, able to expertly deal with objection handling, conflict management and ability to navigate through complex situations
- The ideal candidate is extremely resourceful, will stop at nothing to always find a way to meet or exceed client expectations
- Lead client engagement and relationships by driving client outcomes and delivering against strategic priorities while supporting and influencing a high performing team
- Own all aspects of client engagement during the Strategy Development phase, handing over to Client Success after the implementation phase
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual new revenue objectives
- Establish and update project plans daily with status, next steps, and accurate forecast information
- Proactively disseminate project information and issues to stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects within constraints of scope, quality, time and cost to deliver specified requirements
- In partnership with the practice group, apply knowledge of the client’s industry, organization and strategic business priorities to provide solutions, add value and achieve clients’ most important goals
- Communicate effectively with internal personnel to share knowledge, ensure inter-departmental cooperation, and adopt best practices
- Influence people in a matrix management environment and build strong relationships with clients & co-workers
- Manage and develop team of 2-4 employees
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 8 years of experience working with C-Suite level clients
- Prior experience with conceptual selling, and or data analysis
- Prior consulting experience, with a background managing
- Ability to learn and not just memorize broad and complex expense offerings
- Proven track record of growing accounts
- History of promotion and longevity at a previous employer- with no more than one <2 year employment on resume
- Problem solver who can work with different teams and within different industries
