Role Overview
- Lead data ingestion processes using Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, REST APIs, and file systems.
- Utilize Azure data services including Data Lake, Event Hubs, and Storage Accounts to optimize data management.
- Implement and manage Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT architectures and data modeling.
- Familiarize and apply CI/CD practices for efficient data workflows.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through mentoring and architecture guidance.
- Design cost-effective solutions and optimize cloud environments.
- Microsoft Azure SQL Database expertise.
- Proficient in Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, REST APIs, file systems.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure Storage Accounts.
- Deep knowledge of Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing.
- Strong background in ETL/ELT architecture and pipeline optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data workflows.
- Experience in data governance and compliance.
- Hands-on technical leadership skills.
- Cost-aware design and optimization in cloud environments.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant Azure certifications are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in data architecture, cloud services, and technical leadership.
