Role Overview
  • Lead data ingestion processes using Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, REST APIs, and file systems.
  • Utilize Azure data services including Data Lake, Event Hubs, and Storage Accounts to optimize data management.
  • Implement and manage Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Design and optimize ETL/ELT architectures and data modeling.
  • Familiarize and apply CI/CD practices for efficient data workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through mentoring and architecture guidance.
  • Design cost-effective solutions and optimize cloud environments.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Microsoft Azure SQL Database expertise.
  • Proficient in Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, REST APIs, file systems.
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure Storage Accounts.
  • Deep knowledge of Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Strong background in ETL/ELT architecture and pipeline optimization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data workflows.
  • Experience in data governance and compliance.
  • Hands-on technical leadership skills.
  • Cost-aware design and optimization in cloud environments.
Education & Experience
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant Azure certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in data architecture, cloud services, and technical leadership.
