On behalf of our client, a leading EPC contractor within the Offshore Energy sector, Airswift are currently recruiting for a Drill Machine Assembly and Testing Engineer.

The role is to support a Major UK Offshore Wind project where the client are responsible for the manufacture and Installation of the Jacket foundations. This is a contract role where you will be supporting with the assembly, testing, commissioning, and mobilization of the Drill Machine in preparation of the offshore campaign.

The role is classed as Outside IR35 and so it would be possible to engage on a Ltd company basis if this is your preference. It is expected that you would primarily work from the clients offices but also be expected to travel to Subcontractor sites throughout the UK and the Netherlands to support with activities such as FAT's.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Ensure that all fit-up, staging tests and site integration activities are properly engineered, planned, and documented
• Review related documentation released by the main contractor and subcontractors
• Coordinating with the contractor to ensure that all equipment and items are delivered in timely manner, and all tasks meet the schedule deadlines.
• Support in the supervision and coordination of installation on board, and in preparation and witness of mechanical completion and commissioning activities
