Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek an Electrical Engineer to work in their facilities located in Paris, France.
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Contract Duration: 6 months (possible renewable)
Work Location: Paris, France

PREAMBLE:
The specification defines the conditions of the requirements for the subcontracting services related to Electrical engineer to be performed by the SUBCONTRACTOR in the electrical service.
Scope of the sub-contracting services:
The goal of this mission is to support electrical team as an electrical engineer with a focus on electrical materials and systems follow up and/or electrical consumers list and power balance follow up.
- In relationship with all the members of electrical team and various company’s partners, the candidate could participate in reviewing the technical documentation of one or several electrical equipment (HV/LV transformers, MCC, UPS, distribution boards…) such as layout, wiring drawing datasheet…
- He/she may participate to Factory acceptance test and integrated factory acceptance test at remotely or at SUPPLIER premises.
- He/She could also participate to the elaboration and follow up of a consumers list and of corresponding power balance, leading to the definition of single line diagrams (Overall & Substations).
- Prepare and issue electrical consumers list.
- Prepare, verify, analyze and issue project power balance
- Mark-up and update project documents (specifications, datasheets, Single lines, etc.)
- Update, develop dedicated electrical documentation in relation with equipment
- Coordinate communication and other types of interfaces between electrical equipment (especially with electrical control system)
- Review of supplier documentation
- Participation to Factory acceptance test
REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS:
The services to be performed by the SUBCONTRACTOR require the following skills and experience:
- Graduate from electrical engineering school or equivalent
- Willing to learn with initiative spirit
- Accustomed with electrical equipment specificity, system communication and large industrial electrical networks
- Fluent English speaker
- General good skill with MS office
- Use of software AUTOCAD, Power BI, Visual basic, Smart plant electrical could be appreciated
- Ability to lead a review meeting with Vendors, Clients, Project team, etc.
- Able to travel for meetings and factory acceptance tests
- Seniority: preferably above 5 years
Documents issued by the SUBCONTRACTOR shall have the required quality according to above defined tasks, in particular:
- Technical quality
- Content quality (in relation with information contained in documentation)
- All documents will be written in the contract language
