Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek an Electrical Project Manager to work in their facilities located in Pau, France.

OBJECT:
The service, subject of this document, is part of the strengthening of the ELECTRICITY discipline for studies in progress within offshore or onshore industrial projects. We are looking for an Electricity Project Manager to assist the design office teams and project managers.

PROFILE:
Training in Electrical Engineering, the position is open to holders of a bac + 2 with 10 years of experience or training bac + 5 with a first experience, 5 years minimum, in a similar field. We are looking for an employee with the following requirements referent for the electricity discipline, onshore and/or offshore O&G experience:
  • Knowledge and mastery of the engineering process, content and purpose of deliverables. 
  • Mastery of the contractual technical scope.
  • Management of a team of engineers and technicians (2 to 3 people)
  • Management of the hours that are allocated and reporting to the Project Manager on the progress
  • Ability to understand and arbitrate the technical issues of the project. 
  • Management of interfaces with other disciplines (Processes, Instrumentation, Structure, HVAC, etc.)  Safety culture, HSE sensitivity, MASE knowledge.
WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT:
The work will be done autonomously, under the responsibility of the project manager and in interface with other disciplines in the context of pre-project studies and detailed preliminary projects and detailed studies. The activities and work to be carried out will be in particular but not exhaustive:
  • Management
  • Management of the hours assigned to the electricity discipline within the framework of the project
  • Ensure compliance with the document issuance schedule
  • Management of an electrician team
  • Reporting to the Project Manager o Interfaces - inter-disciplinary coordination
  • Participation in meetings internally or with the Client With the help of his team
  • Writing of the documentation
Description of the project's power supply:
  • Specification of electrical equipment (panels, transformers, UPS, bar ducts, variable speed drives, etc.) and Calculations
  • Power balance
  • Sizing of electrical cables
  • Simulation of the behavior of electrical networks
  • Lighting Lists
  • List of cables
  • Quantities of electrical equipment Diagrams
  • Installation of electrical equipment
  • Wiring diagram
  • Cable routing diagram Follow-up of sellers
  • Analysis of offers and writing of a comparison
  • Management of seller documentation. 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
In addition to this document, the candidate must bring the following skills:
  • Knowledge of BT electricity. HT would be a plus. 
  • Language spoken: English. Proficiency required for written and spoken forms. The language of deliverables, reports, meetings can be either English or French
  • Knowledge of IEC standards, NFC Knowledge of software: Autocad, CANECO BT, DIALUX. ETAP, PowerTools or PowerFactory would be a plus.
