In this role, you will maintain, repair, install, and commission equipment such as motors, motor control centers, medium voltage switchgear, instrumentation equipment, communication networks and other electrical equipment. What you will do:
· Align with all Company Policies and ensure that work is performed in compliance with company Operating and Maintenance (O&M) procedure requirements.
· Complete and stay current with all required safety and technical training.
· Maintain, repair and troubleshoot our pipeline systems electrical equipment including substation equipment, medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, communication networks and instrumentation systems.
· Coordinate with Supervisors, Planners, Schedulers, other Technicians and other stakeholders as required to plan, schedule, and finish the work safely and efficiently.
· Use work management software to document maintenance work, maintain facility records and update drawings as required.
· Maintain facilities for cleanliness, safety and security.
· Execute one-call requests and crossing reports. Line locating when required.

Who you are:
· Journeyperson Electrician with interprovincial certification with minimum of 4 years of related industrial experience.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills with above average analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a driver’s abstract check prior to hire.
· Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical and drug testing.

Working Conditions:
· Schedule: Monday – Friday with an on-call rotation. Emergency response and overtime as required.
· This position requires climbing, bending, lifting, standing and crouching on a repetitive basis.
· Daily travel required within the area. Occasional travel within Canada.
