Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Technician III, where you will play a crucial role in supporting projects within the energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on recent facilities placed into service by a major extension project, ensuring safety and efficiency in electrical systems while building strong customer relationships.

Role Overview

  • Evaluate basic equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs.
  • Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety, and environmental inspections.
  • Maintain effective customer relations through daily communications.
  • Follow appropriate policies, procedures, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Assist more and less experienced technicians with repairs and resolutions.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a local team to deliver efficient service.
  • Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule.
  • Ensure proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, ensuring calibration.
  • Enhance technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures.
  • Meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Electrical calculations: Proficient in performing necessary calculations for electrical systems.
  • Electrical Codes & Standards: Knowledgeable about relevant codes and standards for electrical work.
  • Electrical Safety: Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in electrical maintenance.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Trade certificate or equivalent training is required.
  • One year of experience or equivalent formal training in maintaining electronics or electromechanical equipment preferred.
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations is advantageous.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive pay rate

  • Mileage reimbursement at the 2025 IRS rate of $0.70/mile for personal automobile use, up to a 300-mile round trip.
  • Standard work schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, totaling 40 hours per week.
