Engenheiro(a) de Projeto de Instalação - Pipeline Group

Airswift is seeking an Installation Project Engineer - Pipeline Group to work on a permanent contract in Rio de Janeiro with a major Oil & Gas Company. 
This position is a chance to work in one of the most important multinational companies from Petroleum market in Brazil.
This person will plan and execute the installation of offshore pipelines for the oil and gas industry and for the energy transition.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with and in some cases coordinate delegated external interfaces [AS1] such as customers, subcontractors etc and internal interfaces such as SCM etc.
• Be a technical reference for pipeline installation and contribute to the selection of subcontractors
• Engage in conceptual studies
• Perform installation procedures
• Ensure installation procedures and associated calculations are aligned
• Ensure that specifications and standards related to the project are respected
• Support offshore operations with short periods offshore or in the shipyard
• Actively participate in the training and development of engineers,
• Actively participate in consolidating the know-how of the PG department
• Propose innovative solutions allowing cost and risk reduction

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Good experience working on offshore pipeline installation in a similar role; Equivalent experience in similar projects can be considered.
Previous experience working on pipelay designs (ie Reel Lay, J-Lay, S-Lay) is beneficial.
Previous offshore workplace experience will be beneficial.
