Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, our client is integrated in their Client’s Major Projects which enables them to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.
The Role:
- Development and ownership of the Project Engineering Management Plan including the scope, cost and time components
- Provide project PM with key engineering performance data appropriate to the project size
- Contribute to technical advisory for multidisciplinary project tender bids and submissions as required
- Oversee the management of team members competencies and experience levels aligned to the approved tactical and strategic plans and to plan ahead for possible future skills requirements
- Management of change and trends including schedule and resource impacts
- Participate in the recruitment of technical resources to ensure we employ the right people for the right role and that they are at the technical level required
- Bachelor of Engineering degree (4-year duration) accredited by Engineers Australia
- Previous experience would ideally include a Design Management role
- Strong knowledge of an EPCM/EPC environment, in regard to processes and proposal development
- Comprehensive knowledge of Engineering systems, procedures and practices
- High level consulting and client management skills
