Our client seeks a  Field Senior Structural Engineer for a role FIFO into NSW, idalley you will reside on the eastern seaboard. It is a 2 and 1 rotation
Role Purpose:
  • Support the successful delivery of civil (earthworks, roads, buried services), concrete and structural packages through proactive technical engineering support and quality site supervision
  • Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner
  • Ensure that site trade contractors comply with project technical execution and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure all documentation is managed effectively through to contract closeout
  • Act as co-ordination interface with client to ensure that the client's expectations are satisfied
  • Ensure the project conforms to the client's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements. Coordinate with home office engineering team to proactively resolve technical queries, engineering or quality issues
 About You: 

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess a combination of work experience, skills and or qualifications in the following areas:
  • Demonstrates full commitment to excellent health and safety outcomes
  • Experience on EPCM projects in the execution phase, from the commencement of detailed engineering, coordination of procurement activities and management of construction contracts.
  • Experience in management of purchase orders and contracts for Civil and Concrete project execution, including site administration and technical engineering support, coordination of contractor activities, resolution of technical queries and management of engineering and quality documentation.
  • 10+ years experience, including 6 years of relevant supervisory, engineering and/or technical experience; EPCM project experience in a relevant field. Previous field engineering experience is preferred.
  • Substantial technical, practical and leadership experience in the relevant discipline and proven experience in package management on similar size projects
  • Can make independent decisions and set priorities related to complex situations based on established guidelines and taking into account the cost and schedule impacts to the project
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. Can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies
 Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
  • A recognised engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Eligible for Chartered Engineering status
