Responsibilities:
Participate on project execution strategy development;
Review and joint acceptance of critical project documentation;
Review and communicate hazards imposed by the company on to contractors;
Actively verify performance against project and contractor deliverables;
Adhere to OH&S requirements for Prime Contractor;
Plan & execute ground disturbance following corporate practice;
Participate and joint acceptance of incident reports and verify corrective action effectiveness;
Participate in scope completion tasks;
Review, participate and implementation of the company Safety Initiatives (Audits / Hazard IDs / LOD1);
Actively learn, participate and verify adherence to Safety Management System;
Identification and participation project risk assessments;
Observe and mentor team members;
Develop and maintain effective working relationship with the company Health & Safety Team;
Actively learn, participate and verify adherence to the company specifications;
Participate in quality related activities;
Develop and maintain effective working relationship with the company Quality Assurance Team;
Participate in the development, implementation and updating of project schedules;
Understand work packages schedules, and its role up into master project schedules;
Participate in progress review;
Review and acceptance of contractor daily submissions;
Review and acceptance of contractor reporting;
Identify contractor and work package risk and resolution recommendations;
Review and recommend resolutions for technical issues;
Accurately identify and communicate project risk;
Provide daily progress / risk / look ahead reporting;
Active participation in project meetings;
Maintain daily record keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical piping experience would be an asset.
Work Schedule:
Typically 12 hours per day and 5 days per week.
Additional time may be needed depending on the project.
