We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Head of Procurement. The position will be based at site and is responsible to look all LLI and Contractor procurement activities for the Onshore Projects assuring to meets the needs of the project cost-effective, expedient, and in compliance with Company policies and procedures. Ensure that all Procurement & Materials requirements are met and complied with by the Contractor for the EPC Contract. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below:

Experience required:
- Lead the procurement activities by establishing and maintaining alignment with the Project Management Team (PMT) on project procurement needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Manage procurement of LLI for preparation of ITT packages, coordination of tender process with QG Supply, PMT, and legal and evaluation of bids as well as Administration of agreements until assigned to EPC Contractor.
- Establish compliance with project procurement processes and procedures, oversee the development of other coordination procedure and review/approve Contractor’s procurement procedures and processes.
- Develops and executes Procurement Plans that support the project’s goals and objectives by working with Contractor to develop and implement overall and individual purchasing plans.
- Reviews and implements Contractor’s Purchasing and Materials Management plans including plans for purchase of spare parts and for purchase of bulk materials.
- Develops Closeout and Materials Reconciliation plan.
- Liaison with PMT on project procurement activities progress,, reports schedule and cost data. Advises PMT of procurement issues and steps being taken to mitigate consequences.
- Manage Contractor’s procurement activities (Gates 3 – 5) ensuring Contractor’s compliance to approved terms and conditions of the contract, contractor procedures and prime contract coordination procedures.
- Provides Spare Parts Coordination for the project planning, processes, expectations and to align synergies. Establishes and implements plan for spare parts management and coordinate spares acquisition process, understands the schedule and identify key interface points.
- Facilitate subcontracting administration support as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Science
- 15 years of broad contract management, contracts and procurement experience on major oil and gas projects.
- Demonstrable understanding of procurement best practice.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of the procurement market and key vendors in the oil and gas industry.
