Hook-Up Engineer

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical Engineering or similar. 
• 3- 5 years of experience from mechanical Engineering where of 1-3 years with analysis/calculations.  
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish. 
• Cooperative and self-leading. 
• Experienced user of Ansys, Altair HyperWorks, Abaqus, Rohr2, Visual Vessel Design or similar. 
• Experienced user of European industry standards and codes such as Eurocodes, machine directive and PED. 
• Experience from 3D design tools as Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, NX or similar is advantageous. 

• Challenging, varying and versatile analyses tasks in projects for different customers. You will be working with one or several areas of analysis such as stress analyses, deflections, fatigue, dimensioning and strength calculations in general on a product or structures.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a development project focused on offshore foundation installation. The role demands strong coordination skills, technical expertise, and the ability to oversee planning and stakeholder management for complex work packages. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Master the client's internal systems and oversee workload and work package planning.
• Coordinate internal efforts across multiple teams.
• Manage testing logistics, including site identification, planning, and transport.
• Establish collaboration agreements with testing facilities and/or locations.
• Handle stakeholder management as the project progresses.
• Mitigate risks by identifying potential issues and implementing solutions proactively.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive risk management and attention to detail.
• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering (WTB) or Geotechnology preferred.
• Previous experience in offshore installation projects.
• Commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
