The Company

We are upscaling our team and expanding our network further, we have partnered up with Airswift to support us in hiring and are proud to expand our team to include the appointment of a HV Components Engineer - Senior.
 
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the technical execution and development of transformers, reactors, switchgear, and other HVAC technologies on a specific project in execution
  • Ensure the technical solutions are fit for purpose and ensure the quality of Contractors technical deliverables (equipment and documentation) in all phases of the project
  • Ensure compliance with HVEP and the company processes in e.g. Way We Work and ensure that these are implemented through all phases of the project
  • Support a strong focus on QHSE culture
  • Ensure compliance with HVEP and the company's Technical Requirements and international standards
  • Ensure clarification of technical interfaces towards project stakeholders and Contractors
  • Ensure that proposed changes to the standard design are captured, evaluated, documented and integrated in a structured manner
  • Ensure documentation of works and provide technical support for smooth transition to OPS and/or divestor and OFTO
  • Ensure technology qualification
  • Review of technical documentation, contractor’s design documents and configurations
  • Clarify and align technical interfaces with contractors and cross disciplinary stakeholders including Civil and Structural, ESDGI, SCADA, WTG and HVC
  • Participation in relevant project and contractor meetings
  • Drive technical problem solving and conduct technical assessment for handling of NCR’s and snag items
  • Lead design review meetings
  • Support SQM (Supplier Quality Management) with quality audits
  • Prepare and maintain project specific quality documents as CTQ (Critical To Quality)
  • Provide input for the QAS (Quality Activity Schedule)
  • Participate in FAT and SAT and review tests reports
  • Review RDS-PP numbering of assets, asset register and documentation
  • Provide input to O&M manuals
  • Develop and maintain technical requirements and ensure compliance with country specific standards and regulations
  • Support technical tender evaluation and support technical clarification and contract negotiations
  • Support PD & MD with costs and design information
  • Review of SLD provided by ESDGI
  • Review of substation layout
  • Drive recurring LL meetings between PL and AP
  • Review commissioning supervisor check lists for HV equipment. Use DIT (Digital Inspection Tool) or similar if applicable
  • Participate in HAZID and HAZOP
  • Conduct Technology Qualification assessments
 
Requirements
  • MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering or other equivalent degree
  • Recommended 5 years of practical and theoretical experience within HV equipment
  • Competences within coordination, stakeholder management, communication, collaboration and building relations across cultures and functions
