The Company
We are a world leading company, known through Europe for our projects and support. We are upscaling our team and expanding our network further, we have partnered up with Airswift to support us in hiring and are proud to expand our team to include the appointment of a Expert Linux Systems Engineer.
The expert linux systems engineer provides level 3 Linux support, MCO and changes to the IS ecosystem. He actively contributes to design thinking on technologies that fall within his spectrum of skills.
With an increased sense of production issues and risks, he brings his technical analysis ( debug ) and provides his recommendations for better integration into the IS of the projects carried out within the DSI teams.
  • Participation in the definition of the systems architecture.
  • Management / planning of system infrastructure developments
  • Coordination with other IT departments
  • Installation / deployment of new solutions in the context of process automation or industrialization
  • Linux Tier 3 Support
  • Technology watch
  • Documentation of procedures
  • Support / Network, Studies and Technical Hub of the DSI, Other IT hubs, All customer BUs
  • Linux
  • Hardware (HP blades, NAS / SAN storage)
  • Automation ( scripting , ansible, openshift , git, container) 
  • Failover cluster (HR High Availability , Pacemaker)
  • Supervision management (Nagios, Cacti )
  • Services DNS, FTP, HTTP (Apache, Tomcat), SMB, NFS, ActiveMQ   
  • Scripting ( Shell , Python)
  • PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Versant
  • Mastery of LVM, File systems (XFS, EXT, …)
As part of this mission, on-call duty (Astreinte) and permanence are to be expected. The time slots to be covered are as follows -

Working hours / Permanence (times rotate weekly):
  • 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
  • 12:30 PM to 08:30 PM

On-Call / Astreinte:
  • Weekdays: 06:30 AM to 08:00 AM / 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM
  • Weekends: 06:30 AM to 12:30 AM
