Airswift is currently sourcing candidates for a highly skilled Buyer with minimum 10 years' experience working in a similar role in the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably with an Operator. The successful Buyer must have SAP experience to be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage requisition queue - for designated category (i.e. Instrumentation, rotating etc).
  • Sourcing non- contracted spares as per the contracting strategy.
  • Compilation of pricing list for loading to contract.
  • Liaise with the Materials & Logistic Management Team to manage operating spares expediting and delivery.
  • Provide regular procurement status reports.
  • Advises the Materials Procurement Lead of developments that may substantially affect, costs, schedules, technical content, interdepartmental, and interdivisional relations.
  • Ensure that Local Content is included in the sourcing strategies.
  • Assist with the establishment of lead times for all operating spares.
  • Interact, align and maintain close productive relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Maintain and align dates for responsibilities in Procurement Schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8 to 10 years' experience in a Buyer role.
  • Operator Experience.
  • Highly experienced in using SAP MM, PM and ERP.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of materials management life cycle from Project to Asset is advantageous.
  • Sound technical knowledge of materials & equipment associated with oil & gas operations.
