Main Function:

The construction manager (CM) will report to the SVP Development and will manage all aspects of fabrication and construction activities for the Nanushuk Project, from initial planning through final handover to production operations. Accountable for meeting all safety, environmental, quality, cost and schedule project objectives.

The CM will directly lead multi-functional fabrication and construction site teams and act as the overall site team manager for the entire fabrication and construction scope. This includes lead positions for fabrication and construction superintendents, quality, HSSE, materials, logistics, document control, project controls, preservation, camps, site administration, subordinates and all construction contractors and sub-contractors as required.

The position will be full time, Anchorage based. Frequent travel required to the North Slope, Alaska and L48 Fabrication yards, Engineering contractors' offices. During the construction phase (including early works in 2019-2020), position may transition into rotation between Anchorage and the North Slope of Alaska.


Provide constructability input during FEED, to ensure safe and efficient design approaches, reduce field installation costs, and development of realistic fabrication and installation schedules.

Develop the Construction Execution Plan and support preparation of required ODF Phase 2 and 3 construction and fabrication deliverables.

Participate in value assurance activities (i.e. Peer Review, Assurance Review, Workshops, Gate Approval, etc.) and support the internal process of project authorization.

Support engineering planning by providing fabrication and construction need dates for all work package scopes of work as defined in the overall Work Breakdown Structure.

Develop organization chart, role and responsibilities, and staffing plan in support of the
fabrication and construction activities.

Assist in the identification, selection and contracting of all resources required for the execution and management of fabrication and construction activities.
