Airswift - Contract Administrator - Houston, TX - 12-months contract

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major O&G clients to seek a Contract Administrator to join them on a 12-months contract in San Ramon, CA.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate rate change proposals
  • Teach suppliers on updating their electronic catalogs and validate rate changes
  • Manage work hours
  • Establish contract amendments for items such as name changes, extensions under direction from Category managers
  • Facilitate contracts execution
  • Manage Contracts across systems - update ARIBA and other systems
  • Assist with category initiatives monitoring - update category progress and status reports
  • Assist supplier qualification: Interface with Shared Services to perform supplier qualification, follow-up and liaison work
  • Manage timekeeping on release of new catalogs based on when rates are effective and when Timekeeping is up to date on invoices
  • Validate invoice reconciliations
  • Audit invoices - review suppliers' invoices to ensure charges are compliant with suppliers contracts.
  • Write Contract Summaries

Previous education & experience required:

  • 5-7 years' experience with contract administration, contracts analyst or buyer
  • Proficiency in SAP, ARIBA, Excel (pivot table, v-lookup, h-lookup), Outlook, Maximo
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
