Our client, one of the largest Upstream companies within the Oil and Gas Industry, is seeking a Procurement/ Supply Manager to work as a Contracts Advisor in a 9 months contract position within their facilities in San Ramon, CA.


Job Description:


The P/SCM function works as a partner to strategically leverage and manage our client's spend with a focus on operational excellence and the total cost of ownership represented in the supply chain. Their mission is to create competitive differentiation for our client by delivering optimal P/SCM solutions - the right materials and services, in the right place, at the right time, at the right cost.
The functions strategic processes include: Category Management, Contracting, Strategic Sourcing, National & Local Content, Market Intelligence, Procurement Operations, and Supplier Diversity


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical or business related field such as Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • 5+ years of direct contract development and contract formulation experience in lieu of Bachelors degree.
  • 5+ years direct Supply Chain Management and contract development and formulation experience, including leading all aspects of contract planning, contract formulation, sourcing and negotiations, and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of: SAP, Ariba, Spotfire, Power BI, Microsoft Office products including Excel, Access, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Transportation/logistics or IT contracting experience is a plus.
