Cost Estimator - Oil & Energy

Key Skills: Produce and deliver accurate cost estimates
Location: France
Language skills: English, any French would be advantageous, but not essential
Salary / Package: Competitive
Timeframe: Role has full sign off and budget, ready to interview and appoint.
Interviews: Can be held at a time to suit within 1-3 weeks

The position & experience required
You will be tasked with collecting cost and technical data from different stakeholders including engineering, construction and finance, to ensure data accuracy. You will challenge the technical elements to ensure consistency and ensure the cost estimate is tested exhaustively. By analysing previous projects and interacting with the Cost Team you will propose and develop estimation tools to improve future processes.


  • A Degree in Engineering or related to cost
  • At least 3-5 years of Cost Estimation experience within the oil&gas sector
  • We require someone who can build relationships, solve complex problems and make sense of what can be contradictory information. You must be able to work to deadlines, work with urgency and be able to work under tough circumstances. You should be confident and be able to form and deliver compelling arguments.
  • Resilience, collaboration and decisiveness are key skills.
