Electrical Engineer

Key Skills: Electrical Engineer with both design and site experience.
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark. With high likelihood of business travel.
Language skills: Fluent in Danish, English must be of technical level (written and spoken).
Salary / Package: Competitive, with annual company profit share scheme.

Airswift are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Arup in their search for an Electrical Engineer for their office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Arup are the creative force behind many of the worlds most prominent projects such as the Sydney Opera House and the London Olympics, as an independent firm of engineers, consultants, designers, planners and technical specialists, they offer a broad range of services.

Arup's Danish office opened in 2012, working on the Cityringen Metro in Copenhagen. You will be joining a growing office of 74 staff, a mix of both Danish and other nationalities, working on many exciting projects across Scandinavia and internationally.
Key responsibilities

  • Assisting the electrical design lead on projects, selecting system strategies and equipment types.
  • Collaborating with other discipline engineers for successful design outcomes.
  • Coordinating engineering design with external parties such as architects.
  • Contribute to skills learning with MEP team and finding sustainable solutions.


About you

  • Successfully completed university studies in the field of Electrical Engineering or similar experience.
  • At least 4 years professional experience within Electrical Engineering.

  • Full-time employment, with design and site supervision in Denmark.
  • Experience should include some mentoring and guidance for junior engineers.
