Electrician
A well-respected O&G company with assets throughout South Texas in search of two Electrician's to join their team in Carrizo Springs.

The ideal electrician will have 5+ years of experience in the full-cylce maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, wiring and repair of all electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltages. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in designing and servicing all types electrical, electronic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, radio controlled equipment and any type of integrating, indicating or graphic electrical, electronic or mechanical instruments and control equipment.

Electrician Requirements

Journeyman License or higher required.
High School Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent years' experience.
An electrical certification or technical degree with 5+ years' experience in Industrial electrical maintenance & repair preferred.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Development software; Design software; Internet software; Order processing systems and Project Management software.
Individual must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC's, VFD's, Level I and II communication systems. He/she must understand ladder logic and possess advanced troubleshooting skills with equipment software language. Previous experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens equipment is preferred but not required.
Non-Employee must be able to work with a flexible or rotating schedule which may require overtime when needed.
Read, write and speak English in a clear and effective manner.
Responsibilities

Maintain a good working relationship with Operating personnel in order to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
Responsible for the electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment within the facility.
Analytically troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions back to OEM Specifications.
Routinely check the performance of electrical equipment.
The employee is responsible for maintaining maintenance records, inspection reports, and processing Work Orders.
Ensure a clean and safe work area. Must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
