Our client, one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies, is seeking someone for the Senior HR Recruiting Specialist position to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX.

Job Overview

The HR Recruiting Specialist will be responsible to ensure our client has the workforce it needs to execute its' business strategy by supporting the short term and long-term staffing needs for the allocated clients within the business. In guidance/consultation with senior colleagues and leadership, coach leaders on the client's recruitment process, the use of the recruitment system and effective interviewing techniques; partner with hiring leaders to ensure the full recruitment cycle is completed in alignment with client's guidelines.

This will include creation of job specifications, sourcing of candidates, creation of advertisements, pre-screening and interviewing, negotiating the offer and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained; leverages guidance from senior team members for talent acquisition needs in difficult to recruit locations and for professional or technical disciplines in high demand; participate in execution of corporate recruitment programs including student programs, career fairs; preparation of communication materials for candidates and new hires etc. in collaboration with HR colleagues

Job Responsibilities

  • conduct phone screens when appropriate, compile info and provide to RCs
  • scheduling interviews including outlook invites, room reservations, confirmation emails to candidates
  • initial resume review when appropriate (screen out not qualified applicants based on minimum qualifications such as education, relocation, eligibility, etc)
  • track background & medical report status, send status request emails as necessary
  • monitor TA inbox for unassigned items/action required
  • manage TA inbox filing
  • manage BackTrack invoices & forward to admins for processing


  • 10+ years of experience in the related field
  • University degree in the related field
  • Oil & Gas experience
