I am recruiting for a Maintenance Manager in Cheshire for a US owned speciality chemical manufacturer on a staff basis.
This role is reporting to the Site Director and Reports: Direct - 7; Contractor - up to 40
This role will:
Manage the maintenance strategy and budget of the site and provide, through the use of appropriate maintenance procedures, an efficient, safe and cost effective service to the business.
Contribute to the development and implementation of site management systems and deliver continuous improvement across the maintenance arena through use of key performance indicators, including focus on energy usage
Maintain site assets and operating equipment in line with regulatory requirements, including all necessary statutory inspection schedules, compliance and testing requirements in line with safety, environmental and corporate requirements (COMAH, Permit, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, Kosher, Halal, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000)
Candidates require Operational knowledge and ideally qualification in boiler operations IOSH (minimum) or NEBOSH (ideal) qualification Experience managing a multi-disciplined Maintenance Department, including management of external contractors and budget management for CapEx and operational spend
Experience driving reliability programmes to increase MTBF using processes such as FMECA Experience with use of CMMS to create, issue & close-out work orders and report using the system
