Job description

Work with the project's lead planner to oversee contractors' planning of several sub projects, including a new hydrogen plant, all currently under construction and due to be completed in 2018.

  • Liaise between construction and engineering contractors and project client team to maintain properly integrated schedules
  • Perform analysis and control of schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities
  • Work with the project controls team to analyze cost and progress trends
  • Prepare and status project schedules in Primavera Project Planner
  • Review and verify schedule status based on project team and contractors input for actual progress
  • Prepare input to monthly progress reports and presentations that include analysis of updated schedules
  • Work with project team members to analyze problems and recommend solutions
  • Prepare, analyze, and present cost, planning, scheduling, and performance information to management
  • Assess weekly construction earned progress reporting
  • Assist contractors in scheduling material and equipment procurement


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction and at least 15 years project experience, preferably in a refinery
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project controls principles and earned value management techniques
  • Good computer and communication skills
  • Proficient with Primavera P6 (15.2)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment
