Job description

Airswift is currently recruiting for a Planner / Scheduler to be based in Melbourne CBD for our client who operate in the renewable energy sector.

Location- Melbourne, Australia

Duration- 12 month fixed term contract

Rotation- Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

  • Create project schedules covering the full EPC scope within applicable software - MS Project P6
  • Interact with contractors in order to understand schedule impacts and planning
  • Regularly analyse project plans, critical timelines in project delivery and provide project management teams early updates on critical milestones
  • Performs risk management to the project in relation to key timeframes
  • Provide management reporting covering all projects within one program of works
  • Contributes to the monthly/weekly project planning meeting
  • Ensures timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary

Required Experience

  • Planning / Scheduling experience in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Previous experience with planning software such as MS Projects & Primavera P6
  • Wind farm experience would be highly regarded however not essential.
