We are seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to work for one of our major clients in Houston,Tx.
- Must be able to operate a switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, provide information, take messages, or schedule appointments and update appointment calendars.
- Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail or facsimile machine.
- Perform administrative task such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information and operating basic office equipment. This includes filing and maintaining records, ordering office supplies and recording staff member whereabouts and availability.
- Collect, sort, distribute or prepare mail, messages or courier deliveries
- Process and prepare memos, correspondence, travel vouchers and other documents.
