Our client, one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies, is seeking someone for the Resource Coordinator position to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX.

Job Overview

This professional will be responsible for the coordination and consolidation of construction management and inspection resources pertaining to US liquids facilities and pipeline projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, coordination and implementation of a consolidated construction inspection resource activity plan for all US liquids projects
  • Track, maintain and analyze resource data to effectively facilitate resource utilization and performance metrics
  • Support project teams in resource strategy development and attend routinely scheduled project meetings
  • Work closely with project and construction management teams to select qualified and competent third-party construction management and inspection resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third party construction management and inspection service providers as well as internal stakeholders
  • Clearly communicate with third party providers the requirements and expectations of each inspector role
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the terms and conditions of third party inspection contracts and resolve issues
  • Work with regulatory compliance to ensure DOT operator qualification requirements are met in regard to third party inspection
  • Provide third party construction management and inspection cost estimates
  • Develop power point presentations
  • Manage and maintain the employment status of third party resources in the organization
  • Work with the training department to ensure third party resources complete required internal training in a timely manner

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Proven expertise in client relationship management is essential
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Projects and MS Office Applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
