In order to strengthen our sales activities, we are searching for a strong Sales Manager for the Western French market with in-depth technical knowhow, solid sales management skills and experience as well as the power and determination to fulfil and accomplish assigned tasks. If you have the ability to think outside of the box and at the same time keep focus on the target, it might be you who we are looking for.

The Position & Experience Required:
This is a consultative-sales role, that would suit someone with a technical mindset and experience in industrial maintenance within the chemicals, foods, or pharmaceutical industries. The role is focused on the sale of a service unique to each customer's needs. We are looking for some who can:

  • Be a central part of the sales cycle and process, and the technical support of the account and all related aftermarket services.
  • Propose, develop and implement plans for improving / maximizing sales and earnings from the territory, meeting agreed targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain and further develop relationships to potential customers and key accounts in the territory and promote and present all services in the territory.
  • Develop quotes, conduct negotiations and close contracts.
  • Support and secure successful project execution and order transfer with all necessary technical and commercial information.
  • Ensure follow-up and proper maintenance and the permanent validity of equipment installed.

Experience of value

  • Proven background of B to B sales techniques in an industrial market
  • Organisation of sales actions (prospecting, telephone calls, sales, negotiations, follow-ups and pricing)
  • Experience of using MS Office suite and CRM software
  • Mastery of technical vocabulary and industrial processes.
  • Ability to lead internal teams and projects / customers as well as to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Experience within one of the following machinery / process technology focused sectors will be of advantage and interest: Power, Energy, Packaging, Pumps, Fluids, Water / Air handling and Food production machinery.
