Our client an integrated oil and gas major is looking to engage a Technical Authority for Mechanical Machinery with proven brownfield execution. This role will predominantly be based on site that is 10km from Melbourne.
Provide technical support to operations, maintenance, and projects with a focus on assisting them to meet safety, reliability and production targets.
Participate and lead the development of RCM based equipment strategies, risk assessments and design reviews for all types of machinery/rotating equipment.
Provide trouble-shooting support to operations and maintenance teams.
Provide and implement recommendations to deliver safety, reliability and profitability improvements.
Provide technical mentoring, training and professional support to junior engineers in all aspects of machinery engineering.
Degree or Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in Petrochemical industry or other related industry.
Familiarity with AS and API standards of Mechanical Engineering.
Can demonstrate initiative, leadership and business judgment skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
